Bounties are weekly events that focus on collecting valuable data about entities and threats. By participating, you play a vital role in piecing together evidence to create a solid, comprehensive, and entirely crowdsourced post-mortem of significant incidents, like the image below. This collaborative effort enhances our understanding of the current events, and help prevent and predict future similar incidents.
We also have General bounties, where users can provide data and reports about any given entity they find. This bounty helps us build and grow our database, bringing to light connections and links that were previously obscure. This effort is of paramount importance for the future of our project.
Although these two types of bounties have different themes, they function in the same way: each valid report earns you points. The more reports you submit, the higher you will climb on the leaderboards! The duration of the bounties is 7 days for General bounties and 2 days for Incident-Related bounties. Both will run simultaneously, allowing you to participate in both types.
Each week, we allocate a prize pool of $500 for the bounties, evenly divided between both categories. Two grand winners from each category will receive $75 each, while the remaining funds will be distributed equally as participation prizes to all users who submit at least 15 valid reports during the event.
To check your position in the leaderboard, visit https://sydintel.com/dashboard in this page you will also find the information about the current active bounties, as well as the visual representation of the crowdsourced data gathered from this event.
We will manually review every submission, if we detect deceptive data, sybil or bot activity these users will be removed from the bounties and won’t be allowed to participate in any event or program from Syd in the future.
