Link Wallets to Entities

Last updated 9 months ago

Entities let us connect people and organizations to their digital footprint, including their digital asset holdings.

In this guide, we'll show how you can use the Syd Extension to connect an entity to their crypto wallet addresses.

Discover Wallet Data

To begin, you'll need a verifiable source demonstrating that a wallet is connected to an entity. In this example, we'll use publicly available wallet data reported by Twitter users.

As you can see, the wallet address of @ksicrypto has been shared by well-known crypto detective ZachXBT.

To share the connection between the Twitter user and their wallet with Syd, navigate to the user's Twitter profile and select "Create Intel".

Next, select the "Wallets" button to attach a wallet address to your intel report.

Next, enter the wallet address and chain, and click "Done"

Finalize your report by filling out the remaining report details, including the destination's safety and a short description

All done.

Now any time this Twitter account is connected to another Syd entity, the wallet details will follow, maintaining the connection between the user and their digital footprint.
